So I've seen the other reviews about the service- it's not a real interactive experience with the waitress. That being said the food is REALLY REALLY good. We split the Elote (Mexican corn) for our app. Comes with three half corncobs smothered in the most delicious flavors including hot Cheeto powder. Mains were the fried shrimp taco and the barbacoa (Spelling is wrong I know) both were awesome. Bf got the burrito which looked amazing and I tried I bite of the chicken and it melts in your mouth. I also like the decor and feel of the place. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I took 2 of our kids to Uncle Goyo's yesterday and had a wonderful lunch. They have renovated the dining room beautifully. The service, food and ambiance was all exceptional! We shared table side guacamole and the elote sampler. Their new menu has Uncle Goyo's food on one side and Taco Nganas on the other side. We ordered from both sides and all enjoyed everything we got. All very fresh and flavorful. (My husband and I went many months ago when it first opened and thought is was just ok. This time it was fantastic.) If you haven't been in a while, you may be pleasantly surprised by all the changes they have made.

I was running some errands on a Friday morning and decided to stop here for a somewhat early lunch. It was just at 11am and they had just opened up. When i walked in, i was greeted by their staff who was having a quick morning huddle! I chose to sit at the bar. The bartender quickly came over and asked if id like some chips and salsa but in declined. I ordered a spicy margarita and to my surprise, tacos ganas (food truck) served their street tacos here. When i asked the bartender about them, he said that after the owner of the food truck had about 9 trucks, he decided to do something a bit more upscale. I forgot to ask if they were owned by the same people though. My bartender began making my drink and the host looked over and said "that drink is going to be so good, he's a great bartender" so i was ready! My drink was in fact, delicious and cute! My food came out shortly after and it in fact looked like the food truck tacos but instead of a Togo box, it was on a plate lol. The tacos were so great and they did not hold back on the meat!! Everyone always skips the cabbage but it is truly my favorite. With every bite of taco, i had to take a bite of cabbage too! It pairs so perfectly! The bartender checked on me frequently and overall, the staff were great!! I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. Right before leaving, i stopped by the bathrooms! They have cute doors to distinguish the men from the women! The bathroom was clean which is always a plus in my book!

Just starting out our vacation, long drive from Chicago to Memphis, and we stumbled on Uncle Goyo's. We were exhausted and needed margaritas! Our waitress was warm and welcoming - very helpful giving us great recommendations. Excellent, authentic, Mexican food! It was Taco Tuesday, and they were great - carnitas, shrimp, and barbacoa. Also, our waitress made us an awesome guacamole at the table! Highly recommended!
